Neat has appointed technology executive Javed Khan as Chief Executive Officer as the company accelerates its work in AI enabled collaboration systems. His arrival marks a strategic shift toward deeper investment in intelligent edge architectures, an area increasingly relevant to aerospace and other high performance industries that rely on secure, distributed computing.

Leadership Experience Spanning Intelligent Systems and Global Collaboration

Javed Khan, Neat CEO

Khan joins Neat after serving as Executive Vice President of Intelligent Systems at Aptiv, where he oversaw the development of edge based hardware and software platforms across automotive, transportation, robotics, aerospace, and defense markets. His background includes leading Cisco Collaboration as Senior Vice President and General Manager, where he guided the modernization of the Webex portfolio during a period of rapid global demand for secure video communication.

Neat’s board highlighted Khan’s combination of technical depth and enterprise scale leadership as a key factor in the decision, noting his experience building and deploying complex AI driven systems.

Advancing AI at the Edge for Next Generation Collaboration

Khan emphasized the growing opportunity to embed advanced AI models directly into edge devices, enabling more responsive and secure collaboration experiences. This architectural approach is gaining traction in aerospace environments where low latency, reliability, and data protection are essential.

He noted that Neat’s product centric culture and focus on simplicity position the company to lead this transition as organizations adopt more intelligent, distributed systems for mission critical communication.

Transition Aligns with Neat’s Growth and Market Expansion

Khan steps into the role as Neat continues its evolution from emerging challenger to established enterprise provider. The company is expanding its intelligent device portfolio and preparing for broader global scale. His longstanding relationships within the industry, including with members of Neat’s founding team, are expected to support a smooth leadership transition.

Khan succeeds Janine Pelosi, who guided the company through a period of significant growth and operational strengthening.
