G.S. Precision Expands Global Platform With Acquisitions of Headwater Precision and Lush Heat Treatment

G.S. Precision has completed the acquisitions of Lush Heat Treatment and the assets of Headwater Precision, adding advanced coating, high precision manufacturing, and specialized heat treatment capabilities to its global network of ten centers of excellence. The transactions strengthen the company’s vertically integrated platform supporting mission critical aerospace, defense, and semiconductor applications.

Enhancing Capabilities Across Coatings, Heat Treatment, and Complex Manufacturing

CEO James R. Callan noted that the additions align with the company’s strategy to expand its precision manufacturing and assembly capabilities for highly engineered components. The acquisitions introduce advanced coating technologies, robotics enabled machining, and critical heat treatment processes that support demanding aerospace and defense requirements.

Callan emphasized that the company’s acquisition approach is designed to integrate founder led businesses while preserving their technical expertise and industry knowledge. The new capabilities will be incorporated into G.S. Precision’s existing operations to enhance customer support across complex component manufacturing programs.

Lush Heat Treatment Strengthens European Footprint

Founded in 1952 in Hatfield, United Kingdom, Lush Heat Treatment provides vacuum and endothermic processing and brazing services for aviation, space, nuclear, and defense customers. Lush will be integrated into F.T. Gearing Systems, a G.S. Precision subsidiary specializing in submicron gear systems for aerospace and defense platforms. The addition expands the company’s European heat treatment capacity and supports vertically integrated production of high precision assemblies.

Headwater Precision Adds Advanced Coating and High Accuracy Machining

The acquisition of Headwater’s assets brings high precision manufacturing equipment including robotics, laser systems, CNC machining, and advanced coating technologies. These capabilities enhance G.S. Precision’s ability to produce complex components with tight tolerances and specialized surface treatments required in next generation propulsion, actuation, and semiconductor systems.
