Eyelit and Microsoft Demonstrate AI Assisted MES Integration for Advanced Manufacturing

Eyelit Technologies and Microsoft have jointly demonstrated an AI assisted integration between the Eyelit Manufacturing Execution System and Microsoft Copilot, showcasing how intelligent agents can streamline complex production environments. The collaboration was presented at the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium and highlights the growing role of AI enabled orchestration across high precision industries, including aerospace, semiconductor fabrication, and defense manufacturing.

Advancing MES Connectivity With AI Driven Decision Support

The demonstration centered on Microsoft’s development of an MCP server that connects Copilot directly to the Eyelit MES platform. This integration enables real time visibility into factory operations and supports faster decision making by linking enterprise level AI capabilities with shop floor execution systems.

As manufacturing processes become more intricate and data intensive, the ability to unify planning, scheduling, and execution through AI assisted workflows is increasingly important for aerospace and defense suppliers who must maintain consistent quality and throughput under demanding conditions.

Introduction of Agent EyeQ for Autonomous Operational Support

Eyelit also introduced Agent EyeQ, an emerging AI capability designed to function as an electronic employee within customer operations. These agents can execute, schedule, and plan manufacturing activities either interactively with personnel or autonomously within defined guardrails.

Agent EyeQ continuously evaluates changes in supply, demand, and production constraints, helping close the gap between planning and execution. For aerospace manufacturers managing complex, multi step processes with tight compliance requirements, this type of autonomous decision support can reduce delays and improve operational resilience.

Demonstrated Use Case in High Precision Semiconductor Production

The session included a real world semiconductor use case illustrating how AI powered MES integration can address challenges such as precision, throughput, and rapid reconfiguration. These same challenges are prevalent in aerospace production environments where component variability, long qualification cycles, and strict traceability requirements demand highly adaptive execution systems.

The demonstration showed how Copilot can provide contextual guidance, surface relevant data, and support operators in navigating complex workflows.

Positioning for Intelligent, Adaptive Manufacturing Across Critical Industries

Eyelit Technologies provides integrated planning, scheduling, and execution solutions across semiconductor, automotive, medical device, electronics, and aerospace and defense sectors. The company’s AI enabled platform is designed to improve asset utilization, enhance decision support, and streamline production across multi factory operations.

The collaboration with Microsoft signals a broader shift toward intelligent, adaptive manufacturing systems capable of supporting the next generation of aerospace and defense production demands.
