Akkodis and Deutsche Aircraft Partner to Advance Next-Generation Regional Aviation

Akkodis, a global engineering and digital solutions firm, has signed a strategic agreement with Deutsche Aircraft to support the development of future-ready regional aircraft. The collaboration will focus on integrating advanced engineering services, digital technologies, and sustainable design practices into Deutsche Aircraft’s next-generation platforms.

The partnership centers on the D328eco program, a modernized version of the Dornier 328 aircraft, designed to meet evolving regional mobility needs with improved efficiency, reduced emissions, and enhanced operational flexibility.

Engineering and Digital Integration for Sustainable Flight

Under the agreement, Akkodis will provide end-to-end engineering support across multiple disciplines, including systems integration, software development, and digital lifecycle management. The company’s expertise in model-based systems engineering and data-driven design will help accelerate development timelines and ensure regulatory compliance.

Deutsche Aircraft’s D328eco platform is being developed with sustainability in mind, incorporating alternative propulsion options, lightweight materials, and modular avionics. The aircraft is intended to serve short- to medium-haul routes, with applications in commercial, government, and humanitarian sectors.
