Marlinspike Partners has appointed Ellen M. Lord, former Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, as a Strategic Advisor. Her addition strengthens the firm’s ability to evaluate and scale companies developing advanced aerospace, defense and industrial technologies, particularly in autonomy, AI‑enabled engineering and next‑generation manufacturing.

Lord’s experience spans both government and industry. At the Department of Defense, she oversaw acquisition, sustainment, supply chain security and modernization initiatives across the military services.
