FlackTek Introduces MEGA Line, Aims to Displace Bladed Mixing in Industrial Applications
FlackTek has unveiled its new MEGA product line, a high-capacity evolution of its dual asymmetric centrifuge mixing technology. Designed to replace traditional bladed mixing systems, the MEGA series offers scalable, non-invasive mixing for large-volume industrial applications, including aerospace materials processing.
Scalable, Blade-Free Mixing for Advanced Materials
The MEGA line expands FlackTek’s portfolio of SpeedMixer® systems, which use dual asymmetric centrifugal force to mix materials without blades, shafts, or cleanup. With capacities ranging from 1 to 10 gallons, the new systems are engineered for high-viscosity materials, complex chemistries, and sensitive compounds often used in aerospace, defense, and electronics manufacturing.

By eliminating blades and direct contact, the MEGA series reduces contamination risk and improves consistency across batches. The technology is particularly suited for mixing adhesives, composites, thermal interface materials, and other formulations critical to aerospace production environments.
Industry Shift Toward Clean, Repeatable Mixing
FlackTek’s launch reflects a broader industry trend toward cleanroom-compatible, repeatable mixing solutions that reduce downtime and improve throughput. As aerospace manufacturers seek tighter process controls and higher material performance, blade-free mixing offers a compelling alternative to legacy systems.
“MEGA is the culmination of years of customer feedback and engineering refinement,” said FlackTek CEO John Flack. “It’s designed to meet the demands of industrial-scale production while preserving the precision and cleanliness that SpeedMixer technology is known for.”
Supporting Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Sectors
While the MEGA line is applicable across multiple industries, its relevance to aerospace lies in its ability to handle complex formulations with minimal waste and maximum repeatability. The system’s programmable controls and sealed mixing environment align with the quality standards required for mission-critical components.
FlackTek is headquartered in Landrum, South Carolina, and serves customers across aerospace, defense, medical, and electronics sectors. The MEGA launch positions the company to support growing demand for scalable, contamination-free mixing in high-performance manufacturing environments.
