Hawkeye 360 Welcomes David Wajsgras to Board, Strengthening Aerospace Intelligence Leadership
Hawkeye 360 has appointed David Wajsgras to its Board of Directors, bringing decades of aerospace and defense leadership to the forefront of its mission in radio frequency (RF) signals intelligence. The move comes as the company expands its satellite constellation and analytics capabilities to support national security and allied operations across land, sea, and space.
Wajsgras, formerly CEO of Intelsat and President of Raytheon’s Intelligence, Information, and Services division, has a track record of steering complex technology organizations through transformation. At Intelsat, he led the company’s shift from wholesale bandwidth to multi-orbit managed services, culminating in its merger with SES in July 2025. His tenure at Raytheon saw the advancement of integrated mission systems and digital modernization across defense and intelligence programs.
Hawkeye 360’s platform detects, characterizes, and geolocates RF signals, providing early warning indicators and situational awareness for defense and intelligence partners. With Wajsgras onboard, the company gains strategic insight into how to operationalize these capabilities at scale—particularly as aerospace missions grow more reliant on resilient, space-based data streams.
“David’s strategic acumen and proven leadership will be instrumental as we continue delivering actionable insights that help our customers make confident decisions and accomplish their most critical missions,” said CEO John Serafini.
Wajsgras’s appointment also reflects a broader industry trend: the convergence of commercial satellite innovation with defense-grade analytics. His experience navigating both sectors positions Hawkeye 360 to deepen its role in aerospace intelligence, especially as contested environments demand faster, more precise RF signal interpretation.
Widely recognized for his contributions to aerospace and defense, Wajsgras has earned accolades including CEO of the Year and Intelligence Executive of the Year. His addition to Hawkeye 360’s board signals a commitment to leadership that blends technical excellence with mission-driven execution.
